Tickets are free and can be requested by calling our ticketing agency at 800-838-3006. You may also reserve your tickets online: selecting from two arrival times: morning (10:30 a.m.) or afternoon (1:30 p.m.) below. A limited quantity will be available the first day of each month preceding the month you wish to visit. (For example, if you wish to visit on August Free Day, you may call for tickets beginning July 1). Please note that Free Day tickets are not available at The Huntington, and may only be reserved by phone or online. You may not purchase regular admission tickets on Free Day.
Tickets for Feb. 5 Free Day will be available on Jan. 2 at 9 a.m. Please note that Free Days are extremely popular. Website and telephone traffic to our ticket agency may be heavy and you may not be able to get through immediately. *January 2009 Free Day The Huntington will be closed on January 1, 2009 (New Years Day). Free Day FAQ's
Is Free Day still free? Yes. Tickets are free of charge. How do I get tickets? Tickets are available by calling 800-838-3006 or reserving online. You will be asked to choose between a morning arrival time (between 10:30 a.m. and noon) or an afternoon arrival time (between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.)
Once reserved, your paper ticket(s) will be mailed to you. Can I just pay the regular admission price and come on Free Day? No. You may not purchase regular admission tickets on Free Day, and only visitors with Free Day tickets will be admitted.
Do I need tickets if I have reservations at the Tea Room on Free Day? Yes. If you have reservations for the Rose Garden Tea Room on a Free Day, your Free Day tickets will automatically be mailed to you. The Tea Room does not take reservations for groups larger than 8 on Free Days. Do infants and toddlers need tickets? Yes, all non-member visitors need a ticket for Free Day. How often can I come? You may come as often as you have tickets. Can we use our tickets obtained for a particular month for a different month if we can’t make it? No. You must have a ticket for the month in which you're visiting.
What if we need tickets at the last minute. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last-minute requests. Be sure to allow plenty of time for your tickets to arrive from the ticketing agency. They will mail your tickets to you; you should receive them within seven days. How far in advance can I get tickets? You may call or go online for tickets on the first day of the month preceding the month you'd like to visit. For example, if you wish to visit on the July "Free Day," you may call or go online for tickets beginning June 1. |
